Pajo's Fish and Chips all began in the summer of 1985 and was the brainchild of the founder, Patricia Branch. At that time she had a partner Joan, hence Pajo's [ pronounced Pãjos ]. Joan ceased to be a partner in 1991. Pajo's was originally attached to "A" wharf, floating in the Steveston Harbor mere meters from where it sits today.
