The Wyndansea Ocean Front Golf Resort will have 175 rooms and will have 5.6 km. of coastline adjacent to a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. It will also have a high-end residential component, with 30 lots set aside for building those homes. But the most innovative aspect of the resort will be its green sources of online power. These include a seawater geo-thermal exchange, and systems for using tidal and wind power. As well, local/regional materials will be used for the construction of resort, which may result in an on-site rock quarry, an on-site cement plant and the use of local stone and wood for finishing work. The resort is expected to break ground in the late fall of this year.
