The annual Conde Nast Traveller magazine’s “Reader’s Choice Awards” are out and several B.C. waterfront establishments are big winners.

Victoria’s Hotel Grand Pacific has been named as the top hotel in Canada, while the Sooke Harbour House has placed third in the same category.

Also placing high on the Reacer’s Choice Awards were the King Pacific Lodge on Princess Royal Island placing in the #4 spot of the Top 100 overall favourites and as the #4  top Canadian resort, while second and third places went, respectively, to the Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino and the Long Beach Lodge Resort also in Tofino.

Other locally significant Conde Nast Reader’s Choice Awards were Vancouver Island being named the top island in the Americas and Victoria, tied with Quebec City, being chosen as the #3 top city to visit in the Americas.
